A perspective from Richard Arndt regarding expedited air and ocean services from Asia/PAC to North America.
Shipping goods from Asia to the U.S. and throughout North America via one integrated logistics provider has just been maximized with the merger of Schenker and BAX Global. With over one hundred years of experience in ocean freight transportation, Schenker is a recognized leader in shipping goods by sea. We have our own offices in every major harbor and industrial region of the world enabling us to react to customer requirements quickly and efficiently.
When shipping goods from Asia to the U.S. using Schenker-contracted containers along with space purchased directly from the steamship lines, you can have your shipments expedited from seven China-based ocean centers to eleven U.S. commercial centers.
Our family of products covers inter-modal, door-to-door ocean transportation with time-definite delivery for all types of cargo and requirements, including full-container load (FCL) shipments, less-than-container load (LCL) cargo, as well as accomodations for large, logistically complex projects.
We also offer a wide range of international airfreight products that guarantee time-definite arrival for urgent shipments with defined transit times, urgent shipments with time-window guarantee, shipments that are not urgent but require time-definite delivery, specialty shipments such as charter, on-board courier or special product groups, and door-to-door transportation for time-critical, express shipments by scheduled connections.
Airfreight consignments can be expedited to North America as part of daily consolidations or special charters utilizing flexible international air options, and online shipping and management tools for shipping tracking, reporting and more.
When shipments arrive in the U.S., they flow seamlessly into BAX's distribution network, in many instances via merge-in-transit, then expedited to any point throughout North America using a wide variety of shipping options. Included among these are guaranteed, door-to-door delivery to thousands of cities with no weight or size limits, along with a 100% money-back guarantee if we don't deliver on time; and BAXSaver, for time-definite guaranteed delivery within 1-3 days throughout the U.S.
Now, when you require expedited shipping from any point in Asia to any point throughout North America, you have a single-source logistics provider with the capability to maximize efficiencies along your supply chain. Schenker/BAX.
